Bendywood® round profiles with a diameter of 42 mm were bent in lengths of 6.0 m.
Round profiles with a diameter of 42 mm can only be bent up to a radius of approximately 80 cm.
Since the bending had to be up to a radius of 40 cm, the profile was split in half, the two halves were grooved, and a Bendywood® tongue was inserted to allow the two halves to slide smoothly during bending.

The bending was done using a bending template, as shown in the pictures.
Before bending, glue was applied to both profile halves, and then the two profile halves were secured together using cable ties.
